The Queen’s University Archives reading room and Kathleen Ryan Hall will be closed to public effective March 17, 2020. We will try to answer questions virtually if possible. "Counterarchive or Nostalgia Trip? Reflections on the Swamp Ward & Inner Harbour History Project"
This year's lecture will take place:
Interested in becoming a volunteer at the Archives? There will be two sessions held for those interested in volunteering at Queen’s University Archives for the 2019-2020 academic year:
Monday September 9th at 9am
Tuesday September 10th at 3pm
Each session will be held in the Reading Room of Queen’s Archives, 2nd floor of Kathleen Ryan Hall. Contact us at archives@queensu.ca for any questions.
The deadline for submissions for the Geraldine Grace and Maurice Alvin McWatters Visiting Fellowship is Monday, 9 September 2019, at 4:30 p.m. EST. Queen's University Archives is please to welcome its new University Archivist and Associate University Librarian, Ken Hernden. Ken joins Queen's University after over a decade of service at Algoma University as University Librarian.

The John Buchan papers are being withdrawn from regular access as the project to digitize them gets underway. If you wish to consult them please contact the Archives to set up an appointment; we will endeavour to accommodate.

Please be advised that the Archives will be closed on Tuesday, May 8.
The Archives will also be closed to the public during the weeks of May 22 and May 28. The Archives will reopen to the public for our regular operating hours on June 4.
